When the car eventually struck the moped, it threw all three people from the two-wheeled motorized vehicle. The driver of the car had a suspended license. Police were able to identify the vehicle that hit the moped and tracked it to the woman’s house. Authorities apprehended her at her home and took her back to the scene of the accident, where she stated that she wasn’t aware she had hit anyone.
